思想家的四个层次

根据思想家的思想成果与其所处的时代的关系，我把思想家分为四个层次。层次越高，思想的难度越大，该思想家也越加天才。
第一个层次：滞后于时代的思想家。在时代的发展已经进入了那个阶段很久，才有思想家总结时代的需要提出其思想。这类思想家提出其思想后，当时的人们能很自然的接受其思想，如拖勒密之于其地心说，克劳塞维斯之于其战争论。
第二个层次：同步于时代的思想家。这类思想家在时代刚刚发展到那一步，就能敏锐地发现时代所反映或所需要的思想，如牛顿之于万有引力论，达尔文和赫胥黎之于进化论，麦克斯韦之于电磁理论。
第三个层次：超前于时代、但提出其思想后当时的人们能理解或承认其思想的思想家，如牛顿之于光的微粒说，惠更斯之于光的波动说，马克思之于共产主义，爱因斯坦之于狭义相对论。

In a series of three or more terms with a single conjunction, use a comma after each term except the last

A participial phrase at the beginning of a sentence must refer to the grammatical subject
Divide words at line-ends, in accordance with their formation and pronunciation

As a rule, begin each paragraph with a topic sentence; end it in conformity with the beginning
Use the active voice
Put statements in positive form
Omit needless words
Avoid a succession of loose sentences

Keep related words together
In summaries, keep to one tense
Place the emphatic words of a sentence at the end
